OYO Flagship 15538 Dange Chowk

My first visit was really satisfying, but the second visit on the same day was a letdown. The room wasn’t properly cleaned, and the cleaner’s behavior wasn’t good. I pointed out women’s hair all over the floor, but he only swept in front of the mirror and left the rest of the room as it was. When I asked him again to clean the corners, he did it just for the sake of getting through the night and left. That’s why I’m giving three stars.

The paneer cheese paratha tastes fantastic, though they could present it better. The ambience and service are good, and it’s one of the better couple-friendly hotels. I do wish they’d allow check-in at 11 am, since guests may have their reasons for needing that.

The kitchen service wasn’t running, and the lobby smelled of cigarette smoke the whole time. My room was clean, though the bedding was a little dirty. I’d only recommend staying here for a day or two.

Food choices are limited, but the staff were fine and the rooms were clean on my earlier stay. Jio and Vi reception is poor if you need to work, though the hotel Wi-Fi worked smoothly without disconnecting. It was a pleasant experience and I’d recommend it. Update: the room wasn’t as clean the next time, so I’ve taken off a star.
