There was no lift, which made getting around inconvenient. Inside the room, the AC didn't work properly, and the fan made a loud generator-like noise when switched on. Broken bathroom taps didn't work either. The place was poorly maintained, with dirty rooms, spider webs in the corners, and a constant foul cigarette smell throughout the area. The staff were okay but didn't take initiative. I forgot an item in the room and only got it back after repeated follow-ups and pressure. This was a terrible stay and not worth the money. I'd advise families, especially those with small children, to avoid it and look elsewhere for somewhere clean and comfortable.

I spent four nights at Hotel Grand Vihari. The taps in the washroom leaked continuously, and even after I told the staff, they ignored the issue and never repaired them. I also asked several times for the room to be cleaned, but it wasn't done at all during my stay. At checkout, they still asked me for a tip, saying it was for the boys who had cleaned the room. They clearly hadn't. The service was very poor, and the staff seemed irresponsible and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Cleanliness wasn't up to the mark, and the electric boards were poorly maintained. The fan speed couldn't be adjusted because its knob was missing. They didn't provide any bathroom supplies.

Parking isn't available, and the room and exterior photos were misleading. The room was extremely dirty, and the very old sheets and blankets weren't clean at all. The washroom was dirty too, and there was no water until they fixed it after I complained.

The rooms are okay, but keeping them clean and hygienic could make this a five-star place.
