The rooms are on the fourth floor, but there's no sign to tell you that, and the ground, first and second floors are empty or under construction. Arriving to an empty building was unsettling. We reached after 1 p.m., well past the noon check-in, and our room still wasn't ready. We waited in the lobby while they took their time cleaning. It clearly hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest, and several other vacant rooms had messy linens too. The sheets we got were stained, the floors still had marks, and a cupboard in the supposedly cleaned room held men's intimate hair removal cream. My young son saw it, and I can only imagine the questions if children find something like that. The WC was mounted so high that most average adults couldn't use it properly, and there was no step or stool. The intercom? There was no responsible person around when we needed help. Young or teenage boys staffed reception, and the workers were young men. I didn't see any women there. The receptionist was loud and rude when I asked about the delay. He then said he'd allow me an extra hour for free, as if that made up for it. There was no apology or remorse. I need a room when I need it, not charity. The delay also cost us time we had planned for visiting the temples. The staff seemed not to understand how important our pilgrimage was. I wouldn't advise families, women, pilgrims, or anyone who values their time to stay here. They may be trading on the good name of "VISHNU GRAND" to fool people. If you still go, check the linens and cupboards before accepting the room. Please read the long reviews for an accurate picture. The short ones may be fake or paid.
