Fabhotel Blue Moon

We ended up at Blue Moon with senior family members and a child after Fab staff cancelled our MMT booking at Fab Hotel sunrise the day before check-in, saying it was oversold. At Blue Moon, the restaurant was closed for renovation, so the breakfast we had paid for wasn’t available. The rooms were dirty, and staff seemed unsure what was happening. After we complained, they showed us a few rooms and said they’d clean them. The next morning a cat came into our room through a drainage pipe beside the window. I called reception and got no response. I just hoped we’d get through the rest of the stay without another surprise and check out. I wouldn’t recommend Blue Moon or the Fab chain. It felt like a scam, and decent hotels with professional staff are available instead. I’ve attached photos for reference.

The hotel is remote, with no restaurants, tiffin centres, or shopping malls within walking distance. In the room, there weren’t enough towels, soap, toothpaste, or brushes, and the bathroom had no mirror. The booking was frustrating too. The website number connected to a FabIndia representative, since the hotel’s site had no Warangal number for direct booking. He took an advance of Rs. 450 and agreed to arrange the room a few hours before and after the usual check times for an extra charge. We reached at 9 am after a long journey, as arranged, but the receptionist refused to give us a room until 11, even though all the rooms were empty. He told us to contact the FabIndia representative, who then didn’t answer. The receptionist called the hotel’s so-called MD, who also refused without any courtesy, despite the hot summer. He wouldn’t give me the MD’s number either. When I asked to cancel and get the Rs. 450 back, he said to ask FabIndia and that the hotel wasn’t responsible. The receptionist argued with us on arrival and ruined the day. We’ve stayed in everything from five-star places to basic hotels in many locations, and this was the worst experience. If you’re travelling a long way with family, be careful choosing this hotel. The FabIndia representative, receptionist, and MD just send you round in circles and leave you feeling stranded.

Room service barely responded, and the room smelled bad. The washroom flush didn’t work, and the sheet looked used and not properly washed. The room also bore little resemblance to the Google photos. A really disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax, and the convenient location was a plus. Our room was spacious, clean, and looked after well. Staff were polite and quick to help whenever we asked. I enjoyed staying at Hotel Blue Moon and would recommend it to families or business travellers.
