Hotel Hotel Suprabha

It's an older hotel in a busy area, and some things, especially the doors and bed, still feel dated despite updates. The AC was good and the shower pressure was strong, though the hot water wasn't enough in the evening. During a power outage, they took their time turning on the generator. It's a decent hotel, but a bit pricey.

We had the veg combo, which was enough for three people, and it was really delicious. The kaju paneer, veg Manchurian, soup and butter roti made the day. The restaurant is quite amazing.

The service was good, and I really enjoyed the chicken biryani I had at the restaurant last evening. The masala rice portion was just right and tasted delicious. I'd definitely recommend it.

The food was tasty, though overpriced. That's about the only good thing I can say. I was meant to stay three nights, but left early and moved to the adjoining Harita Hotel of the Govt of Telangana because of how carelessly this place was run. Last year my stay was fine; this time it was hopelessly appalling. The bed linen in my room was stained. I asked to move, but found the same problem in the next room. They changed the linen, but the intercom didn't work, so there was no way to call reception for help. Service was slow, and the staff, while polite, seemed unable to do anything. It felt like the owners had left them to manage somehow. The AC barely worked, so the room was hot. Turning off the bar fridge to reduce the heat didn't help either. Don't stay here, you'll be disappointed.
