OYO 39194 Hotel Ashoka

The hotel is in a perfect location, and the staff treated us nicely. They only gave us basics like towels and soap after we asked. There was no shower in the bathroom, and unfortunately the geaser wasn’t working, so we only had cool water. They can arrange pickup and drop-off from jolarpet station for 800rs each way.

Trusting Oyo to book this place was a complete disappointment. The room was filthy and didn’t even have a lock. They charged for breakfast during booking but didn’t provide any. We went on a peak holiday, and at first they refused to give us a room even though we’d paid the full amount in advance. I honestly didn’t want to give even one star. This isn’t a hotel, it’s a store. Don’t book here and ruin your holiday.

Mr.Guna was especially polite, courteous, and helpful in guiding us. The room facilities do need improvement. OYO caused a horrible amount of trouble, cancelling my booking and switching the hotel three or four times within three hours of my trip. I was travelling with 7 adults and 3 kids, so it added a lot of stress. I got more than 7 calls from 7 different people about the same thing, which wasted my time and energy. OYO's service was poor this time. Please avoid.

The staff behaviour was awful. Even with an OYO booking, they demanded extra money when we checked in at night. With family and no other hotel easy to find at that hour, it felt like we had no choice but to pay more. They only gave us a room key, no water, soap, or towel. There are better-serviced hotels around Yelagiri. Avoid checking in at night.
