The location was OK, and the hut houses seemed OK too. But I stayed in a Standard Room, and it was very bad. It was really old and smelled awful. The bedsheet was so smelly I couldn’t even use it in the severe cold. The food was just OK. Only two people were managing all the room service and food. They were clearly exhausted and slow.
Nice ambiance and good room facilities. The swimming pool was clean and neat, and breakfast was worth the cost. It’s one of the best places to visit in yelagiri, a must visit...
The roads are bad and sleepy, and getting around is awful on and off. There’s no AC, there’s no water in summer, and the swimming pool can’t be used.
They call it a resort, but to me it looked like a lodge, and it was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. The room smelled horribly bad as soon as we entered, maybe fungus. They blamed the rain and moved us to another room, but that had the same smell. Breakfast the next morning was awful too. The idli was yellow and very hard, and with our 3 yr old kid we were afraid to feed it to her. They charged 7500 for just one night. Please don’t rely on the Google reviews, it seems like a scam.
We came with a group of friends and enjoyed ourselves a lot. The stay was worth it for the budget, with a calm place and a really good ambiance. The resort in Yelagiri had yummy, tasty food, clean rooms, a clean swimming pool, and nice staff. 👍
