Deepam Resort By OYO Rooms

This is a lodge with very few facilities, not a resort, and I don't know why it is registered as one. It's nearly a kilometer off the main road. When I entered my room, it smelled musty and of cigarettes, so I had to ask for room freshener. You have to request everything, even water. The table was dusty, and no one bothered to wipe it. The first sheet had mould patches; when I asked for a replacement, the next one had even more, and they said that was all they had. People with asthma should beware. Requests for room service took 45 minutes to an hour to come back. I ordered coffee around 8am and got it at 9. There's no restaurant, and with service like this, it wasn't worth the money.

The service boys were polite, but there was no room service and the other services weren't provided either. Breakfast wasn't as good as we'd expected, and there are no shops nearby. The rooms were neat and spacious, as people say. The TV didn't work, and there were no chairs for dining. They also wouldn't allow early check-in or late checkout, even for an urgent need.

The rooms were clean and nice, with a dining table attached. The problem was breakfast timing: staff said they would buy our complimentary food only after 9, which wasn't fair. We ended up not eating at the resort on either of the two days, and lost about 600 rs worth of breakfast.

Our room was really big, but we had booked AC and were given a non-AC room. The geyser and TV didn't work, and there were small frogs and a large snail-like insect in the washroom. I hope they improve the maintenance for their own good.
