Hotel KC Yercaud

We stayed one day with family at KC Hotel in Yercaud. It’s an ordinary place that’s okay for a budget stay, but we weren’t comfortable. The soundproofing is poor, and outside noise came through constantly, especially disturbing us at night. Check that the bathroom window is shut before using it. We didn’t notice at first that it was open from the back, and then saw people walking outside. That left us feeling very uncomfortable and unsafe. Our room telephone didn’t work, and there was no kettle. Since we were on the ground floor, we went to reception whenever we needed something. They said they would boil water for us, but it took about 20 minutes. We couldn’t tell whether the water they gave us was mineral water. There’s no breakfast at the hotel, so you have to go out to eat. In winter, there’s no room heater, and the room gets extremely cold, so you have to manage on your own. Getting hot water meant asking reception, and with the phone out of order we had to go there ourselves. This is only suitable for a basic budget stay. Don’t expect comfort, privacy, or winter facilities.

The staff were really helpful, and we had a very good stay at Hotel KC. The rooms were nice, the bed was cozy, and hot water was available 24 hours. It’s near the lake and budget friendly. Having a restaurant of its own would have been more convenient, but overall we were happy with it. Thank you, Hotel KC team, for making our holiday memorable.

A calm, safe hotel in a central spot. The boat house, Yercaud lake, and Anna park are all within walking distance. The hotel manager and front office staff were kind and attentive. Very nice place.

Stayed on 26th December 2025. The toilet smelled awful, and they had put naphthalene balls all around the room. It was hard to even breathe. Worst experience ever.
