Getting around felt unsettling: the lift didn’t work properly, and the staircases were locked. We had to leave through a dark, creepy emergency exit, and the corridors felt eerie, almost like someone was following us. From the moment we entered, the whole place had a disturbing atmosphere. Even the attached mall added to the discomfort. The hotel felt more like a haunted house than somewhere to stay, and the situation felt strange and concerning, as if access was being deliberately restricted. It’s not worth the money or the risk. I strongly recommend avoiding The Golden Plaza & Spa Hotel.

I had a wonderful time here, with excellent rooms, service, and a wonderful breakfast. Some rooms face a society. The airport is nearby, so you can hear planes landing, which may bother some people, but there are no landings after 10 pm. Marvellous overall.

The food was scrumptious and arrived within 15 minutes. Manpreet was sociable as well as professional, and the staff were prompt. As an unmarried woman travelling alone, feeling safe is essential, and I found this place safe for women and very pocket friendly. The rooms were hygienic and clean. Overall, a safe option for single, unmarried women.

The staff even carried our luggage from the car to the room and brought it back promptly. For a one-night stay, the room was comfortable and had thoughtful basics: slippers, soap, shampoo, cream, towels, plus a kettle with coffee, green tea, milk powder, and sugar. There’s no food service in the hotel, but ordering through Zomato worked well, and Paras Downtown Square Mall nearby has plenty of places to eat. A pleasant stay with good facilities. I’d visit again.

Dinner was really poor, and complaining didn’t lead to any action. The breakfast menu had few options, and the food was below average. The service was a very poor experience.
