The food was a mixed bag. The crunchy fish, chili chicken, kebabs, and vegetarian platter were delicious, and the staff were very polite and attentive. The lahsuni chicken at the main course, though, was disappointing compared with the starters. At the Holiday Inn, Zirakpur, I attended a seminar in the banquet hall on the 4th floor. The hall and adjoining lobby were spacious enough for 100 to 150 people without feeling cramped, with chandeliers and lighting that gave the space an elegant, professional feel. The clear projection screen and excellent sound system made the seminar run smoothly. The washrooms were clean and well maintained, though they lacked a hand dryer and shoe-shining machine. Valet parking made arriving and leaving easy, with very little wait. Despite the main-course letdown and those missing restroom amenities, it’s a premium, well-equipped and hospitable option for seminars and mid-sized corporate events.

Rajdeep deserves special recognition for the hospitality during our breakfast visit at Holiday Inn. He responded quickly to our requests, made sure we were comfortable, and served us with a genuine smile. His polite, attentive, professional manner and positive attitude really enhanced the experience. Thank you for the excellent hospitality. She’s a great asset to the hotel.

Our event was held in the Savitri 3 banquet hall, where Krishna and the team managed our large group very well over multiple days. The food service was great, especially from the F&B Associates and Anubha in particular. The hotel is well maintained and well appointed, though the room needs additional mirrors. Doing makeup was next to impossible. The location is outside what I was told is considered “main” Chandigarh. All in all, it was a great stay for our event.

Rajdeep and her support team made our evening memorable, and I’d like to thank them. We visited the much-loved Viva restaurant at Holiday Inn, Zirakpur today. When we arrived, Rajdeep greeted us and showed us around the large buffet spread, making every effort to make the evening special.
