It’s a nice place to stay while visiting Hawler or nearby areas, though the hotel itself doesn’t have much to keep you there all day. The city center is about 15 minutes away. The buffet has lots of good choices, although some dishes were a bit cold. The pool is shallow, simple, and clean. There’s also a massage area, sauna, steam room, Turkish bath, cold plunge, and hot tub, but the Turkish bath was closed. Rooms are warm and clean. Nothing too special, but nice enough.

Arriving five hours after the confirmed check-in time and still having no room was unacceptable. I had booked through Booking.com and received full confirmation, including several emails saying check-in was at 2:00 pm. When we got there at 7:00 pm, reception told us the room wasn’t ready. It was extremely stressful with my 4-month-old baby, and staff gave little explanation, no advance notice, and barely an apology. Since it was Thursday, most hotels were full and finding somewhere else was nearly impossible. A very disappointing experience after receiving a confirmed booking.

Breakfast was the letdown. The open buffet had low-quality options that felt like they belonged in a 2- or 3-star hotel, and at $10 per person it wasn’t worth it. I hope they improve it to match the rest of the place. Otherwise, most of my stay felt luxurious: the room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel overall was very good. I paid $131 for one night and didn’t get a chance to see the swimming pool.

The staff deserve a lot, and if I owned this place I’d raise their salaries. They’re helpful, professional, educated, nice, and speak different languages. The food is very good too. It’s a beautiful hotel, and I really liked the team. Thanks so much for the service. I’d recommend the place and will definitely come back. Love it.
