In my experience, this doesn’t measure up to similar four-star hotels. Ventilation and cleanliness were the main problems. The stay was satisfactory, but I’m not sure the rating or the price is justified.

The outside looks fancy, but inside it felt kind of blah. The room was just okay and nothing special for the price. I expected a lot more for what I paid. Breakfast was pretty good, at least, but I still came away disappointed.
After a packed day, you won’t get a good night’s sleep here. The rooms were hot, the AC didn’t work, there weren’t enough sheets, and there was a smell of smoke in the rooms and hallways.
The hotel photos online are old. The furniture has been changed, and it now has a modern feel. We stayed in a suite with a balcony, though I can’t speak for the other rooms. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. Breakfast was delicious and had choices for different tastes. The restaurant food was better than anywhere else we ate, and there are vegan dishes on the menu. I enjoyed staying here with my wife and friends.
The reception team were friendly and helpful, especially Matin. He was always hardworking, correct, and gave a top performance. Any hotel would be lucky to have him, and I’d suggest Austria, where we’re looking for motivated people like him. The café also has a special character thanks to its staff. Mr. Abbas, the café manager, deserves particular praise. Management clearly made a good choice hiring him. Thanks for the great conversations and cultural exchange. He’s one of the best baristas I know. I hope they eventually build the small café kitchen. The restaurant, though, is easily the hotel’s biggest weakness. I travel all over the world and have never encountered food like this, even deep in the Amazon jungle. The kitchen staff seemed to have no respect for the food and weren’t trained to prepare it. It’s such a shame. Management urgently needs to invest and bring in qualified staff. After months at this hotel, I can say it seems to be trying to keep things running with minimal effort, much to guests’ detriment. It could be Kashan’s flagship, but the management is really failing.
