Royal Hotel Darvishi

Reception staff speak English, the WiFi is good, and the hotel team were nice and professional. The cafe and restaurants are decent, but the pool, spa, and jacuzzi feel outdated. The rooms’ interiors are getting old too. It may have been a five-star hotel in its prime, but now I’d call it a solid three-star place, nowhere near five stars.

This is the worst hotel. The card wouldn’t open the door, and when we got into the room, a man was fixing the bathroom.

The breakfast was rotten and expired, and the staff were rude and unhelpful. I was given wrong information when booking, then ignored when I needed help. They said transportation was available, but when I arrived, it wasn’t. I was told the hotel-to-airport ride would be free, then they denied that and offered a hotel taxi at a quoted price, which I accepted. At the airport, the driver demanded more than the hotel had quoted and was disrespectful. This hotel isn’t even two stars.

There aren’t enough parking spaces in the garage. There are no stairs, so you have to keep waiting for the elevator, sometimes 15-20 minutes. You could also get stuck inside for 30 minutes before anyone comes to help.
