The room was hard to sleep in: the door wouldn't shut properly, and the walls let in the noise from the busy intersection outside. It was hot, but the cooling system wasn't working, and opening the window wasn't an option because of the traffic noise. The carpets were very dirty, and the faucets were broken and dirty too.

If you're visiting as a tourist, keep in mind that Iran uses its own hotel star system. A five-star place here may not match the standards of a three-star hotel in another country, so adjust your expectations and enjoy your stay.

The room's AC wasn't enough, and opening the window meant putting up with a lot of noise. Still, I thought the hotel was great overall.

Right in the city center, and the rooms were clean. The towels and other service were only okay, though satisfying enough. I'd call it a medium-good place to stay in Tabriz.

We were on a long drive and stopped for one night, our fourth hotel in Tabriz. The room was spacious and fairly well designed, though we waited ten minutes to get the key. Breakfast was decent compared with hotels in the same class, but there wasn't much variety. Parking was available on the ground beside the hotel, with no roof. The minibar tag said drinks were free, so it was odd to be told at checkout that we had to pay for one we'd used. The receptionist said the tag was from about a month earlier. I wrote to the manager because that thoughtless mix-up spoiled our memory of the stay.
