Fisherman Village is a beautiful spot outside Reykjavik, with a lovely view of the sea. We stayed for just one night. The room looked cool, and the decorations matched the theme, but there were lots of flying bugs inside the cabin, even in December. The rest of the room was clean. We never met any staff, so the place felt very anonymous. We got some information through WhatsApp, but that was it. There was a room that looked like a restaurant, though we couldn't ask whether guests could use it since we didn't see anyone from the staff.

We came here hoping for a good chance to see the northern lights, and we did get to see them. The village has a cute, quirky feel, with a koi pond and birds around the property. The rooftop sauna and hot tub were both nice. Our room did smell like mildew, though, and check-in was at another location, even if it wasn't far away.

The sauna and hot tub were a great bonus, and with only a few rooms occupied, it felt like the whole place was ours. We had a great time and will definitely return. From the room we watched sunset and sunrise and saw the best Aurora. The location was amazing, just 13 minutes from the city. The exterior is adorable, and our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. It was the best stay of our 10-day holiday.

We only stayed one night, but it was lovely. The room was cozy and the night was so quiet that we slept like babies. The geothermal shower water left my skin really soft and less itchy than usual, which I appreciated since I suffer from urticaria. I'd definitely recommend it. I only wish there were an easier way to book places like this without using platforms such as Booking 😮💨.

The views are fantastic, and the location is exceptional. The room was fine, but the walls are quite thin and the television didn't work. One morning around 7:30, someone, I think a tour group leader with a larger group, stood outside shouting for several minutes. As far as I could tell, nobody from the hotel did anything about it.
