The room was simple, but it worked well for our four, with five twin beds, and we had a comfortable stay. Breakfast ran from 6 to 9 and was included. I got there at 8:30, while my wife and kids arrived at 8:55; the staff kindly let them eat too. I’d seen a review saying the food was gone by 8:30, but even with a full parking lot during our visit, there was still plenty.

The view alone makes this an incredible place to stay in Iceland. Our host was amazing, and the cook made phenomenal food. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

The people here are wonderful, and the staff were incredible. The food was five-star quality. The location is unbelievable, it really blows you away. I wish I could give this place more stars, and highly recommend it.

The scenery is awesome, and we ate delicious food. We were a group of eight, and our host was so accommodating, putting us together and letting us hang out in the restaurant area. The host and cook also gave us recommendations for places to visit.

There’s no TV, but the rooms are comfortable, with good beds, free Wi-Fi, and larger rooms that have big bathrooms. Arnie was a great host, and breakfast was good, with gluten-free buns provided. The restaurant wasn’t open every night, though there’s another one in town just a five-minute walk away. It’s also only a nine-minute drive to see puffins, with lots of hikes nearby.
