The setting is what I keep thinking about: peaceful trails, wild blueberries, flowers, a waterfall nearby, and those beautiful lake views. We loved how simple and modern the hotel felt, with that Scandinavian style, and the floor-to-ceiling windows made the views even better. The beds and soft linens were comfortable, and everything was clean. The staff were so friendly and kind. We had two rooms for our family of five, and they added a cot for our third child, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh buffet choices and lovely hot dishes made to order. It was a perfect base for exploring nearby sights, and we wished we could have stayed longer.

We stayed in 12 different places while driving the Ring Road, and this was one of our favorites. Our suite had an amazing view, and we got to see the Northern Lights over the beautiful glacier river. The staff made the stay even better. By the time we left, they felt like friends, and we really didn't want to go.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, with huge bathrooms and a simple, modern Scandinavian feel. Each one has its own entrance. The hotel sits in a beautiful spot between a lake and a small, rather rare forest. We had really good food in the evening and a nice breakfast buffet in the morning. Definitely somewhere I'd return to.

The rooms were large and spotless, and ours had a glass wall where we could watch the sky for the Northern Lights. We didn't get lucky, but it was the best chance we'd had so far on our trip. Breakfast was amazing, 5/5 for everything. Seriously, stop looking, this is the place in East Iceland!

We had a comfortable stay, and the food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. There were lots of good breakfast choices, too. A very nice hotel with stunning views.
