A really nice guesthouse in Eskifjördur, and it's also part of HI Hostels. The kitchen is good, the bathrooms are clean, and the rooms are comfortable. The shared space was clean and comfortable too. Modern and nicely equipped. I can only recommend it!

The place was clean and comfortable, but there isn't anyone at the guest house to handle check-in or check-out. You have to go to a cafe down the road. That was confusing at first because it was closed the first couple of times we went there. Once we got that sorted, everything was okay.

It's fairly cheap, but rough around the edges. Some of the lights need replacing, and it could be great with a bit more care.

The kitchen was the best part: upstairs there's a lovely living room with a stove, plenty of space, comfortable sofas, and a TV. The rooms are excellent and have what you need, including blankets, towels, a TV, and outlets. It's a beautiful seafront guesthouse, with a wonderful view in the morning. The showers are nice, though there are only two, and the bathrooms are well maintained too. All very nice.
