The mountain view from the roomy living and dining area made it hard to head out. The leather sofa and armchairs were great for relaxing, and the kitchen was modern and stocked with just about everything, from sharp knives and plenty of dishes to an induction cooktop, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, and waffle iron. The four of us, two couples, stayed five nights and felt at home the whole time. We slept very well in the proper double beds, with good mattresses. The bedrooms aren’t huge, but they were quite adequate, and the bathroom worked fine for four people. The house stayed pleasantly warm with its underfloor heating. The hot tub was lovely once filled, though that took two to three hours, and it sometimes struggled to hold its heat in the fairly strong wind. Still, sitting in the warm water with a cool breeze was wonderfully cozy. There were lots of useful extras around, including towels, bathrobes, a washing machine and clothesline, board games, candles, a Bluetooth radio, trash bags, and a gas grill on the terrace. It’s hard to list it all. We had no real complaints, and I can’t recommend the house enough.
