The room itself was clean and good, and the person who came to let us in kindly brought us a microwave so we could cook something. The wifi was very good. But the listing needs to be managed properly, and photos of services that aren’t provided should be removed from the websites. The pictures didn’t match reality when it came to breakfast or a place to cook, and there’s no common area. It’s described as a self check-in hotel, but when we arrived we had no entry codes. Other people outside seemed to have the same problem. After trying to contact the property, we looked for another place, and they helped us get in touch. We finally reached the property, but they didn’t give us codes. Instead, they asked to meet us there, almost an hour after we’d arrived at the main door. A very nice guy eventually showed up, opened the front door, and took us to the room.

It was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the shower looked renovated. Check-in is self-service, but it’s easy to reach someone if you need help. I stayed two nights, enjoyed it, and would definitely come back.

We were left outside in the freezing cold when we tried to check in. Nobody opened the door, and we hadn’t received a code. A guy came out and told me everyone would leave the building the next day because the owner was changing. Please transfer my money back.

After a long day of travel, this was strange and disappointing. We booked through Booking.com, but couldn’t reach the staff at all. The hotel seemed closed, which felt like a big scam. Tenants we spoke to on their way in said there would be some kind of owner change and everyone had to leave.

A really cosy, peaceful place. Nicely done.
