The upstairs bed is unusual, and the kids loved it. We’d hoped to see the northern lights from up there, but none appeared during our stay. The space is small, though it has almost everything you need. A microwave or something besides shampoo would be a nice addition. Everyone else said things were fine, but I couldn’t sleep all night because I was so itchy. At 2:28am I got up and saw some bites (see picture). I googled it and found out Iceland is the only country without mosquitoes, so whatever bit me was very sneaky. I felt much better afterward. I just hope they can spray for the bugs. I don’t want one or two bugs to ruin my night.

The shower had excellent water pressure, and the kitchenette had a toaster, burners, and dishes. It’s a great value, very new and clean. The downstairs sofa bed fits two adults, and the loft bed could fit two as well. I’d definitely stay again.

These tiny cabins were great for two people, though more than that might feel cramped. They’re new and clean, with everything you need, and town is a short walk away. The beds are up a ladder and the ceiling is low in the loft, but that wasn’t an issue for us.

The bed is in a small attic, so you have to watch your head when climbing up. The sheets felt rather rough, and because of that I found the sofa bed more comfortable. There’s good WiFi, an ensuite bathroom, and plenty of lighting, even in the attic. Everything was clean, modern, and new. The holiday home was well equipped too, with a kitchenette, hairdryer, and even scissors, which you rarely find in most accommodations.
