The only drawback is that there aren't many restaurants or attractions nearby, though being away from things is part of what makes this place so peaceful. Our hostess was amazing and went out of her way to make sure we had a lovely stay. She took our breakfast orders each night and brought breakfast to our room in the morning, including fresh bread she had made herself. There are four private standalone rooms on a hillside, overlooking a pasture with horses and a gentle river. The setting is wonderfully secluded. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and seemed relatively new. A real hidden gem.

We had a wonderful stay, even through our five-day quarantine. Ragnhildur was a lovely host and helped us so much while we were quarantining. The new cottages are really nice and well equipped, surrounded by beautiful scenery, with lots of attractions within reach. We'd love to come back.

I wish we'd stayed more than one night. The individual bungalow was lovely, with nice decoration and a wonderful view. The host was very nice and breakfast was great. There are horses on the property, and because it's far from the road, it's quiet.

We got a homemade breakfast from our host, including homemade bread and tuna salad, and met her friendly, curious Icelandic horses. It has the comforts of a modern guesthouse while being a peaceful place to clear your mind and connect with nature.

The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh, warm, crispy bread, excellent cheese, and lots of skyr. The owner was friendly and gave us great tips on places to visit. The sunrise was gorgeous, too. A little piece of heaven in Iceland, with fantastic views, privacy, and a place that feels new, modern, and superbly clean.
