The room was clean, but far too hot. We slept without sheets and still barely got any sleep. Breakfast felt like the sort of thing you'd pack for a child on a school trip. The woman at the counter was nice enough, but the stay was disappointing overall.

We were driving the Ring Road on Highway 1 and needed somewhere to stop before taking on several more hours behind the wheel, so Albert Guesthouse made sense. We booked there and check-in went smoothly, following the instructions. It was right by the main road, with lots of parking and a couple of restaurants an easy walk away. We stayed just one night. The rooms were simple and clean, with a TV and very comfortable beds. There was a kitchen and breakfast area beside a large sitting room, plus a deck for outdoor seating in warmer weather. They also offered breakfast to go in the morning and unlimited coffee.

The staff were so friendly and personable, and the boxed breakfast in the morning was really nice. Our room was comfortable and the location was lovely. We only stayed one night, but we'd definitely come back.

The staff made a great impression, they were welcoming, helpful, attentive, and friendly. The hotel is also well placed for exploring the area nearby. A good place to stay, and I'd highly recommend it.
