Opal Apartments

The open-plan layout made it a lovely place for my family to settle in while we explored Iceland. There was plenty of space, and the apartment was comfortable, clean, and stylishly decorated. The bathroom was modern, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking.

There was plenty of room for our two adults and two children to unwind in this modern, very spacious apartment. It was clean, and having private parking was a real bonus. We could walk to restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. Our flight arrived early, so we left our bags at a sister hotel on the same road. The staff were very helpful, both face to face and over the phone. I'd recommend staying here when visiting Iceland.

A week here showed me how much easier it is to stay in an apartment than to visit Reykjavik just for a weekend. I could cook and feel at home, and the place was clean, roomy, and fully equipped. The owners were kind and checked whether I needed anything. Downtown is very walkable, and if you have a rental car, you can reserve one of the six garage spaces ahead of time. I'll definitely come back.

The walk to the center is a little long, but that suited me because it made for a good night's sleep. The apartment was spacious and clean, with everything needed for a full week, including a washer, dishwasher, and iron. Great place, and I'd recommend it.
