We only stayed one night, but the room was larger than we expected and really clean. It was such a comfortable, cozy hotel, and the staff were friendly. The cleaning lady always greeted us with a smile, and one man even ran after us when we left our passports behind. There isn't designated parking, so you have to pay, though the convenient location made that manageable. A very pleasant stay, and we'd happily come back.

The room was clean and pleasant, with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice shower. You're right in the middle of the city, a minute from the rainbow road and close to lots of bars and restaurants. The stairs were the one drawback: our room was on the third floor, and there was no elevator. The stairs were very narrow, steep, and small.

Over my 20 days in Iceland, I stayed here three separate times. Skólavörðustígur Apartments had the best rooms and customer service of anywhere I stayed. The rooms were quiet, clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff handled every request easily and flexibly. Check-in was simple and convenient. I'd recommend these apartments.

We were on the top floor, so had to use the stairs, but the view from the apartment was great. A perfect stay right in the heart of Reykjavik.

It's a big, clean apartment in an awesome location. The downside is the street noise: with people walking and talking outside, sleeping early or getting up late is impossible. A TV in the apartment would be nice too.
