This was the biggest and most expensive place we stayed, and it felt much better after a long week of traveling around Iceland. It’s close to the city’s main areas. The beds were much better than those at the guesthouses we’d stayed in. There was one main bedroom and one very small one, with barely room to walk up to the bed, which nearly filled it from wall to wall on three sides. The kitchen had all the necessities, though the appliance instructions weren’t very helpful. The dishwasher had me stumped for a while. The shower was excellent and the most spacious one we had, but there weren’t many hooks for clothes and towels. There was a heater by the shower if you wanted to hang clothes. Parking isn’t guaranteed, apparently it’s first come, first served. We were lucky to get a space on arrival, but I’m not sure what we would’ve done if they were all taken, since we couldn’t use the underground lot. A nice place for a group if it fits your budget.
