We found it clean and warm, and it was great value for money. The rooms had enough space and what we needed for our two nights at the end of June. There were plenty of bathrooms, so we never had to wait. The shared kitchen and dining area was well equipped, though another sink area and a second kettle would help.

The atmosphere was great, and our room was clean. The shared showers and toilets along the corridor weren’t a problem. There was a spacious, cozy living area with a kitchen, and everyone could use the dishes. We were even surprised to find a sandwich grill 🥪. Everything promised was there. There’s no reception, so check in is done on your own. It might take a little longer and a few calls to the help number. Nearby is KIDKA Wool Factory shop, a handicraft store with a wide selection and pretty reasonable prices.

Hi, I booked the hostel today, confirmation number 16062224887250907381. When I arrived, I wanted to book two more rooms because there were four adults in our group. I contacted the property owner right away, and she kindly agreed to let me cancel. But the booking dot com app didn’t give me a way to cancel. I also noticed that the charge is still pending. I hope the owner sees this and refunds me. Dear hotel owner, could you please give me your email address so I can contact you there? I checked and found that I was billed SGD$125.68, as shown in the attached image. When we spoke on the phone, you agreed to let me cancel. I looked everywhere for the hotel email and couldn’t find it, so I had to write here. Thank you, Paul Yeo.

A clean room and comfortable beds, so it does the job for a night’s sleep. Ours had a bunk bed and was very small. You might get an ocean view room if you’re lucky, otherwise you face a gravel hill. The bathrooms are shared, so bring your own soap. There’s a small washer and dryer in one bathroom, but you’ll need your own detergent.
