Gullfoss, Geysir and Strokkur were all within about a 30-minute drive, which suited us well. We stayed two nights and found the staff kind and attentive. The rooms were roomy and spotless, and the kitchen and other amenities were great. The kids liked the toys, and we enjoyed the view from the windows.

The autumn colors around the place were lovely. It felt calm and relaxing, and everything was cozy and super clean. One of my favorite places we stayed in Iceland.

You’ve got a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights here, and if you’re lucky, you can watch them right from your room. The hosts were cheerful and always keen to help, and the rooms were good too. One of the best places to book.

The grounds and views were breathtaking, and the photos in the listing really don't show how lovely it is. We booked the family room for four and were surprised by what an amazing suite it was. Anna was a fantastic host, and breakfast was delicious. The dining room, with grape vines, felt straight out of a movie. One of our favorite stays in Iceland, highly recommend!!!

The grape decorations around you are especially lovely, and both the room and shared spaces were clean. She bakes delicious desserts for breakfast, and the service was very good. There's a public hot tub with an amazing view, and a nearby farmhouse serving amazing food. Such a lovely place, I'd definitely come back.
