The staff went out of their way to make sure we had dinner on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, when all the restaurants would be closed. The guesthouse was beautifully furnished with high-quality materials, from the rooms to the shared living room and kitchen. We had a fabulous stay. Both our rooms had private en suite bathrooms with showers, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The down comforters were super warm and cozy. From one room we could see the sky and some Aurora, and from the other, the adorable down of Stykkisholmer. We'll definitely be back!

Our stay at Sýsló Guesthouse in Stykkishólmur was a real delight. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make things enjoyable. I was especially grateful for the upgrade to a larger room, which gave us plenty of space and comfort. The place is tastefully decorated and well maintained, with stylish, modern rooms that are comfortable and well equipped. Its location near the harbor is convenient. Sýsló Guesthouse exceeded my expectations, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone exploring the Westfjords of Iceland.

The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and in a great location. The light in our room was bare, though, and shone right into our eyes when we were lying in bed talking. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom either, luckily we had brought our own. Please check before you check in.

We didn't have breakfast, but it was freshly prepared and beautifully presented every day. The place was amazingly clean and modern, with a beautiful room, comfortable beds, and a great big shower. The staff were very sweet. Perfect location for walking around and enjoying the town, and I'd love to stay again!

I liked this house a lot. It was tastefully decorated, with a big shared sitting room and kitchen. The room was probably too small, but the bathroom was completely new and spacious.
