Kría Cottages

The Northern Lights views were incredible, and the cottage was spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. It was ultra clean and had all the essential amenities. Compared with other popular places in the area, it was budget-friendly too. We had an amazing stay at Kria Cottage and highly recommend it for a scenic, comfortable, affordable stay.

Cottage 2 was just the right size for two people, spotlessly clean, and cozy. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, plus salt, pepper, oil, and coffee. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. There’s no shower, but that was still okay for a short stay. The Wi-Fi was strong, and communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommended!

The views were spectacular, and the price was hard to beat. We stayed in Cottage 3 in mid-March and caught an AMAZING Northern Lights show. The cozy cottage made a great base for the Borgarnes area, and having a kitchenette meant we could make coffee and use a few things from the nearby grocery store.

The owner was so nice and reachable by phone, even later in the day, and check-in and checkout were self-service. We stayed in the larger cottage since it was the only one available. It looked like a postcard, with a superb location, fresh renovation, and lovely decor. The kitchen had the essentials, including salt, oil, and coffee, and was fully functional.
