Aurora Igloo South

We could watch the northern lights moving across the sky from inside the clear, warm igloo. Maybe we were lucky, but it was incredible. The beds were comfortable and checking in was easy. If you’re able to pay more, I think the igloo with a private shower is worth it. Even without the upgrade, it’s still well worth staying. No complaints, just a memorable experience.

We had clear skies and the aurora during our stay, with stars overhead and the lights in front of us. Being near town but far enough from its light pollution made that possible. The igloo was clean and heated, which we were very grateful for in the freezing weather. Check-in was easy, and the communal area was clean and lit well enough to find from the igloo. Highly recommend it.

The toilets and showers were very clean, and the igloos were warm, cozy, and tidy too. I stayed for one January night and was lucky enough to see the northern lights. The location made it a great spot for aurora viewing. I really enjoyed the night and would definitely come back x

After a freezing day, it was lovely to come back and make coffee or tea in the clean, pleasant shared bathrooms. The bed heater made the igloo especially cozy, and seeing the northern lights from bed felt like a fairy tale. We stayed one night. Thank you!
