The hotel was a great base for reaching many of Iceland’s sights, and we even caught a spectacular aurora show there on our daughter’s 16th birthday. We’d booked the trip with both our daughters to celebrate the occasion, so that made it one to remember. The staff were friendly and knew their stuff, and the food was fresh and tasty. Our quadruple room stayed warm and comfortable, was clean, and got restocked daily. I’d include this hotel in a Hella itinerary.

A lovely spot near Hella, and the rooms are clean with their own private entrances. The food was the letdown: neither dinner nor breakfast seemed fresh, and both felt far too expensive. Really disappointing.

Monica deserves a special mention. She looked after us so well, always smiling, kind and helpful, and made us feel right at home. We loved the food, and the accommodation was lovely too. Our room was beautiful and spotless, with breathtaking views, and the cozy feel and stunning location won us over as soon as we arrived. Iceland at its best. We’d recommend staying here and hope to come back someday! 🏔️❤️🌟

You’re pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but the views are great and my family got to see the horses. The room was cozy and decent for the price, with a good shower. The staff were friendly and helpful with information.

The horses and dogs living next door were a big hit with my kids, they were extremely friendly. We had a lovely two-night stay, with delicious breakfast and dinners. The staff were kind, helpful, and so friendly.
