The bed was nice, but the place overall didn’t meet the usual accommodation standard in Iceland. It felt somewhere between a spacious cottage and a construction site, and everything seemed a bit old. Some kitchen parts were missing, the oven was very dirty, and the fridge was only okay. There was also a power problem with the pool. The owner seemed a bit lost dealing with it, but we found a solution. It wasn’t a big problem, though it fit the general picture.

A lovely winter getaway. The hot tub and the arura are unbeatable, and I’d come back in a flash. Only things I missed were a log burner and underfloor heating.

The cottage was so comfortable, and I loved it. The landscape is wonderful, a dream in one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Lovely place, and we got to see the northern lights here. Just a couple of things could be better: there was only one towel per guest, and the toilet smelled like a men's urinal, no insult intended to men.

When the power went out, the owner was considerate and really helpful over the phone. The cottage is spacious and has just about every utility you could want, including a jacuzzi.
