Varmi Guesthouse Apartments

We only had one night here and wished we could have stayed longer, since there’s plenty to do nearby. The hot tub was great, and the shared spaces include a workout area, pool table, and a huge kitchen. The rooms were excellent, and the owner was really friendly and helpful. Ask him where to eat. You can walk to the Geothermal park and the excellent restaurant Matkráin.

The geothermal park and its greenhouses are worth checking out, and there are interesting trails nearby, all within walking distance. We also found good food close by. This is a lovely little guest house in a cute town, with clean rooms and a properly hot hot tub. Sheshi, the hostess, was friendly and helpful.

Stayed in apartment 1. The location was great, the facilities were fine, and there was a hot tub. Loved the Christmas decorations, too. Had everything you could ask for.

For a short visit we didn’t get to use all the amenities, but there were loads of options. The mini apartments were clean, comfortable, and wonderful. The owner lives nearby, lets you in, and gives you a tour. Take the tour, there are so many things available. Calling this a 3-star hotel really doesn’t do the place justice. I’d happily stay here for a couple of days if I had more time.
