You can get to many of the region’s sights easily by car, and it’s dark enough around the hotel to see the northern lights when they’re out. For an especially dark spot, I’d drive 1-2 km away. The staff were super kind, and the hotel is brand new and very nice. There aren’t many food options right nearby, though the restaurant and bar on site are both solid.

Our two-bed room was clean and new, and the receptionist was polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good, and you can see the Northern Lights from the hotel too.

We booked when the hotel was brand new and had only two reviews, and stayed for two nights. The rooms were comfortable, neat and clean, and the staff were professional. It’s a convenient base for touring the south. Breakfast had lots of variety, and the staff were attentive.

Our groceries weren’t enough for New Year’s Eve, but another restaurant owner recommended this place. We were pleasantly surprised by the food quality, and the hospitality made us want to recommend staying here.
