I had to pitch my tent by the river across the road since tents aren't allowed at the restaurant. Then the owner of the blue house farm ran after me, which made me worry he was about to send me away. Instead, he said I could put the tent anywhere on his property!!💖 The restaurant is very good, too.

Breakfast was really good!!! The rooms feel a little dated, and the carpet looks very old. Replacing it with laminate flooring would make a big difference, I think.

That hot tub on a cold evening before bed felt like such a treat. The place was quiet, comfortable, and beautiful, and I had my best night's sleep in Iceland so far. The staff were kind and generous, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good. I'll definitely come back when I'm travelling around again.

The staff were fantastic, really helpful and accommodating, and the restaurant is very good. Breakfast comes with the room; dinner costs extra, but there are good choices and the prices are reasonable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. For Americans, just know that the showers and toilets are shared, though you get your own sink and mirror in the room. I'll include their menu.

This was the least expensive place we stayed overnight in Iceland, and it also had the best included breakfast. They were very flexible, too. I'd absolutely stay again!
