The setting is lovely, especially with the horse stable right beside the guesthouse. It feels peaceful and authentic. Inside, the rooms are huge and comfortable, with plenty of room to unwind after a long day. The slightly creaky house has a cosy charm and real character. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good selection, and just right to get the day started. We enjoyed our stay, whether for a short visit or longer.

We got to spend some time with the horses on the property, which was a lovely extra. The owner was very friendly, and the staff were welcoming. It was comfortable and well located. One thing to know: although the accommodation photos show a kitchen, guests can’t use it.

The horses made this stay feel a little different from the usual hotel experience. We shared a bathroom with two other rooms, and that worked out fine. After a long day of travel, it was nice to relax with our friends in the common area. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast was amazing.

We didn’t meet the hosts, but the room, bed, and bathroom were all good. The upstairs lounge had lovely views and was a beautiful place to spend time. Breakfast was healthy, and the place was quiet. There were friendly dogs and horses around, plus a couple of sheep.

Being right in the middle of a horse farm made the guesthouse feel like a dream. We could walk around the farm and pet the horses, carefully. Our room with a shared bathroom was just right down to the details, which has been rare for us in Iceland. Upstairs, the relaxation area was cosy, with free coffee and tea. Breakfast was filling and had plenty to offer.
