The bathroom was a little small, though it worked fine, and this is part of a somewhat older bungalow. The rest was clean and well kept. It's centrally located in selfoss and has what you need, including a well-equipped kitchen for 2-4 people. The bed was huge and very comfortable. A nice place, and one I'd recommend as a second option.

After four nights sleeping in a car, stretching out in a comfy bed here felt amazing. The beds were comfortable, and the place had everything it said it would. There weren't any bowls, so we ate cereal from cups instead. I'd still recommend staying here.

We stayed in a room without a kitchen on our first stop after leaving the airport. The bed was fine, and check-in at the hostel's separate building went okay. The bathroom was a bit cramped, and water leaked into the room while we showered.

We ended up in the apartment next door because the hostel was full of younger guests, and the upgrade came with luxurious surroundings: a private kitchen, a new bathroom, a huge bed, and a TV. Hard to turn that down. It was our first stop after Reykjavik. You don't really get to connect with the other guests there, but you'll get over it.
