Òlafia and the team clearly look after their guests. We felt at home, and the extra touches made this our go-to for another Iceland trip. The apartment had more than we needed, all laid out well. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cutlery, crockery, and cooking gear. The living area had a decent-sized TV, a comfy sofa, and Apple TV, so we could pick up our series right where we'd left off. The minimal bedroom was cosy, and the beds were really comfortable. Underfloor heating throughout kept us warm in winter, even with the cold outside. The bathroom was great too, with a big shower, easy-clean glass doors, and fresh towels for the week.

The five of us, four adults and a toddler, loved our stay in this newly refurbished, contemporary place. The owner was thoughtful enough to leave some backup food and essentials, which helped us settle in. We had a stunning view from the window, and the area was quiet and convenient for driving, close to the city and even closer to the Golden circle. It was a fantastic experience.

We booked just the night before because my flight arrived early, and getting in with the self check-in was easy. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed to cook several meals. Stores like Kronan and Bonus are close by for groceries, and free parking was handy. There are even water views. A great base near downtown Reykjavik for the start of our Iceland trip and for seeing nearby sights.
