The general manager was so hospitable and made us feel welcome. Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious, nicely laid out, and spotless in a convenient harbor neighborhood close to everything. It had comfortable bedding, high-end appliances, a fully equipped kitchen, fleece robes, hair dryers, a large furnished balcony, a large-screen TV, and a cell phone to use. We also appreciated the coffee, tea, milk, and sugar. There was construction nearby, though that seemed to be happening all over town, and the property was close to a bus stop used by many tours. Can't go wrong with this place.

You can walk to pretty much everything from here. The beds are very good, and the unit is well stocked and tastefully furnished. The kitchen and bathroom have high-end fittings and appliances, and the Wi-Fi works great. There’s cable TV, though only a few English channels.

The apartment is a nice size, and I loved being able to sit in the sun on the balcony even in winter. But at 4 am on departure day, the power went out while the rest of the building still had lights on. I had to pack using my phone flashlight, and luckily we didn’t leave anything behind. Parking right outside the door is risky too. On the first night, some stupid hooligans broke the car’s right mirror, costing us 51000 Icelandic Kronas. Thank you Icleland.

The place was nice, but it was very warm and we couldn’t adjust the temperature. The shower water had to be cleaned every time, and there was smelly underwear in the closets.
