The place was cozy and comfortable, and you can get eggs and yogurt if you want to make breakfast. Just know there’s no elevator. Carrying big suitcases up and down the stairs can be painful.

The location worked well for us, near the main shopping street and places to eat, and the kids were thrilled there was a PlayStation. Our apartment felt like home, with a separate double bedroom, twin beds in the living area, plus a sofa, kitchen, and dining table. The breakfast baskets delivered to the door were generous and good quality. Highly recommended.

The lighting felt cozy, and the blackout curtains helped make the stay comfortable. The sound insulation was perfect, and there was a massive wooden door to the toilet. The kitchen was small but useful, with one of the best selections of kitchen utensils I’ve come across while traveling through Iceland. The ceramic branded plates were expensive and heavy. As far as I could tell, not every room has an oven, and the stove has only two slots. Breakfast was simple, but it was nice to be able to add to it in the kitchen.

It’s lovely, cozy, and clean, with very friendly, genuinely helpful staff. We added the breakfast basket and it was fantastic, a lovely treat every day. I’d highly recommend it for couples and especially families. It isn’t five-star luxury, but it certainly didn’t deserve a four-star review, so I gave it five.
