The hosts were really nice and easygoing when I had to come back the same day after checking out because of a storm. It's a clean, cosy, modern guesthouse with a fair price. The kitchen is well equipped and has warm colours. I'd gladly return if I'm in the area.

The owner was quick to respond and helpful when I made a last-minute booking in April. The guesthouse is nice and clean, with a well-equipped shared kitchen for cooking meals and a nice bathroom with a shower. Good base for checking out Saudarkrokur!

The room faced the road, and traffic kept it busy late into the evening and again early in the morning. Sharing one toilet and shower between four rooms was inconvenient, especially since they’re in the same room. The kitchen was also short on a few basics, particularly cooking oil, which we’d found in other guesthouses. The owner sent a helpful email with details before our stay. Breakfast was included at the bakery across the street: one sweet item of our choice, a regular sandwich, and coffee or tea, or a carton of juice. Not the healthiest meal, but very tasty.
