BSG Apartments

The beds were comfortable, and the apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. Those were the good parts. We were looking forward to the three-bedroom place after reading the reviews, but a really bad smell and foggy windows made us suspect there could be mold. The oven and shower were so dirty that we didn't want to use them. Without the smell and dirt, I'd have given it five stars.

We felt at home here. It's a simple place, but quiet, with comfortable beds, warm, unfussy decor, and a kitchenette equipped with what we needed. Really recommended.

The shower deserves a mention: there was a handheld head and a ceiling shower set high enough for the 6'5 and 6'7 ft people in our group. It was such a relief, and not something we'd often found on the trip. The owners' dog also popped in for a few minutes. He was a calm, sweet puppy. We had the roomy flat, with three bedrooms and two twin beds in each, so six people could sleep there. There's also a studio. The flat had a large shower, a spacious kitchen with nice cooking gear, and a dining spot and common area with room to relax. Two washing machines, a drying rack, and a radiator handled our laundry well overnight, even with snow outside. Towels, toilet paper, shampoo, bath gel, and a hairdryer were provided. It was warm and comfortable, the beds were good, and there was a patio plus big windows that let in lots of natural light. Comfort, cleanliness, and the hosts all get five out of five from us.

The whole place was really clean, and the hosts were friendly. We found all the cooking utensils we needed.
