We stayed overnight in the campground section, which was handy for our travels. The kitchen area and showers were nice. The washing machine, though, was broken and took ages to get our laundry done.

The location is great, and we had no power outages, which was a plus. The indoor facilities were fine, but the outdoor ones felt worn, and some toilets were out of order. The campground itself was muddy and uneven, with no work done after winter, so getting the camper level took quite a while. I could live with those problems if the price hadn't doubled since last year.

Everything was clean. The campground has a heated kitchen with plenty of tables, a couple of hot plates, and sinks. There are three showers in an open area, separated by curtains.

The room size was just right, and the little kitchen had what I needed to make a proper meal, including cutlery, a pan, salt, and oil. There was a heater in the bathroom and one near the bed, and both worked normally.

We went in February, when it was sometimes -11, so it would've been great to use the jacuzzi, but it wasn't working. The rooms themselves were really warm and had the basics: shower, fridge, cooker, and beds. They're good if you just need somewhere to sleep. The area is central enough and quiet, so it's a good place to set off from in the morning. I'd recommend hiring a car and travelling around.
