The staff made the stay especially pleasant. They were welcoming and quick to help with questions or suggestions, and it was clear they cared about guests. The guesthouse was clean and cozy, with shared bathrooms that were kept in good shape. We also made good use of the fully equipped kitchen for breakfast, which made self-catering easy. Seydisfjördur Guesthouse sits among beautiful mountains beside a lovely fjord, in a peaceful, picturesque part of Iceland. It was a great base for exploring the area, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place with comfort, cleanliness, and kind service.

The building feels modern and comfortable, and our room was clean, well equipped, and comfortable for our one-night stay a few weeks ago. We were upgraded to a private bathroom, though the shared ones looked nice too. The kitchen is spacious, modern, and fully stocked, with lots of free food and a machine for unlimited coffee, cappuccino, espresso, and hot chocolate. There were construction sites around the building, which I'm sure were temporary, but otherwise it was a great stay.

We were there just one night. Our room was beside the communal kitchen, so it could get noisy. There is a washer and dryer, though getting a turn might be difficult when lots of people are staying. The woman working at the hotel was very helpful.

The kitchen is spacious, and we especially enjoyed the free hot chocolate. The staff were friendly and very helpful, including when I needed to print a document. It was a warm, comfortable, hospitable hotel.

This was the best hostel of our trip, and it felt more like a hotel with a shared kitchen. We had a private bathroom, and everything was in good condition and seemed recently renovated. The kitchen was good too. The only thing I missed was a freezer for a cooling element to keep food and drinks cold on road trips. I'd recommend staying here.
