We could choose between a double room facing the mountains and a twin room looking toward the sea, which was nice. The guesthouse is an interesting conversion of what seems like a boathouse, and the view is lovely. The room is plain but has what you need, including outlets, a little bedside table, a light, and coat hooks. There is a shared kitchen, and breakfast is available, though we didn't try it. The walls are very thin, so other guests are easy to hear.

The rooms are the pleasant surprise here: clean, roomy, comfortable, and nicely furnished. Outside, the building still looks industrial, with old machinery around, since it used to be a fish cannery. It sits right by the water with mountains behind it, and the drive into town is short and scenic. Highly recommended.

The views were amazing, and the bedding was really comfortable. The room with a double bed was tiny, though, and a horrible sewer-like smell from the bathroom spread through the hallway all day. That was the one thing this guesthouse did well.

The exterior doesn't give much away, but inside it's very nice. Our room was the quietest one we've had on this Iceland trip. The host was friendly and accommodating, and even let us keep our perishables in his fridge overnight.

We had a comfortable private room with its own bathroom. The bathroom was clean, though very small. There is a kitchen for cooking, but cooking isn't allowed after 10 pm.
