We spent a weekend here and had such a lovely time. The host was super friendly, the bedrooms felt cozy, and the beds were comfortable. We baked macarons, made chocolate, and cooked a nice dinner. The Christmas house is only a five-minute walk away, and after that we enjoyed the hot tub in the cold, beautiful weather. The house is fantastic, clean, and welcoming, with lovely details everywhere. We’ll definitely be back soon.

We were lucky enough to see the northern lights right outside the cabin, which was magical. The family who owns the place gave us such a warm welcome, and the view over the Icelandic landscape is delightful. The Old Farm is in a wonderful location, and the villa is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with a cozy feel throughout. The bedrooms and shared areas have plenty of room, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is spotless and practical. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

It took us two years, but we finally made it. Our hostess Heiðdis was so friendly and helpful, and Old Farm - Íslandsbærinn is beautiful inside and out. The house comfortably sleeps up to eight, and each bedroom opens directly onto the covered verandah. There’s also a hot tub, a beautifully fitted kitchen, laundry, bathroom, and living room. It’s just ten minutes outside Akureyri, a fantastic place to stay in the north of Iceland.
