Hotel Langaholt

The buffet was a real highlight, with a great mix of Icelandic dishes and international favorites. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the whole place had a relaxing, welcoming feel. The staff were friendly and attentive all night. We had a wonderful stay at Langaholt Hotel and would happily come back.

The buffet meals were pricey, but both breakfast and dinner were so good that we felt they were worth it. We got to try lots of new foods. The room was basic, clean, and comfortable. For the 24-hour daylight, we tucked the curtains onto the windowsill and blocked the door with a chair and bag, which made it pretty dark.

I booked the dinner buffet almost three months ahead since it was where I wanted to celebrate proposing to my girlfriend. Finding a lovely dinner spot in Snæfellsbær was really hard. We didn’t stay at the hotel, just came for dinner. There was a generous choice of delicious food, and I especially loved the sashimi fish and lamb. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!

I left my driving licence behind, but after we’d gone, Sumna contacted us and drove it quite a distance to another hotel for us. That was fantastic service, and she really went out of her way. We had arrived late on a wet, windy night, but the room soon warmed up and was lovely and toasty. Great stay, and a lovely breakfast.
