The food was okay, nothing special. Some staff were genuinely lovely and tried to make things better, but others were rude and unhelpful. It also didn’t feel child-friendly, and some workers made children cry. A construction site next door started as early as 6 a.m., so getting proper rest was difficult. The first- and second-floor rooms were disappointing and not very clean. I was bitten by many ants and asked to change rooms, but they didn’t believe us for ages. Eventually we were moved, only to find ants all over the bathroom there too, along with crickets in the first room. The top two floors seem much better maintained, so I’d suggest booking there if you decide to stay. There are some positives, but for families or anyone wanting a relaxing break, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you can get a higher-floor room and don’t mind the noise.

I’ll stick with my overall 5-star rating, keeping in mind that this is a budget hotel. The old rooms aren’t rated very well and lots of guests have complained about them. Dinner was also below 5 stars.

We only went for the spa and liked it a lot. The price was very reasonable, and the atmosphere was relaxing. There were dry and steam saunas, an icy cold jacuzzi, and spacious indoor and outdoor pools.

The hotel feels a bit old, and most of the guests were seniors. It’s a thermal baths hotel, of course, but I was still a little surprised, so keep that in mind. We’re a young couple, which made us a minority. Facilities and services were very good. Dinners were very good, and the crew were always kind. Breakfast was self-service from a buffet and just average, but in a positive way. One receptionist was truly professional, had a great memory and excellent organisational skills, and was funny on top of it. Whenever we needed something, he dealt with it immediately. For me, it’s worth 4 stars.

A good spot to unwind and recover from feeling worn out, both mentally and physically. Local shops are very close by. For sightseeing, though, the major attractions are too far away.
